This beautiful family kicked off my outdoor family season. Let me tell you, it feels SO darn good to be shooting outside again! We went to Sprangers Orchard in Kaukauna for this session, and it did not disappoint. It was fabulous. The blooms are only around about 1 week in the spring, and they were stunning! This family of 7 is the sweetest in the world. They have 2 identical twin girls – Magnolia and Sunflower – and I can’t tell them apart for the life of me. Even while editing I had no idea who was who! Haha. Identical twins are such a cool thing. This mama has wanted a family session of her tribe for awhile now, and I’m so happy she finally got one!

Pictures are so important. Are they a big investment? Yes. Is it hard to plan clothing and get everyone together like this? Yes. But in the years to come, family sessions like this are everything. Looking back at your kids and how young they were… Looking at their little smiles and personalities at the time. AHHHH it’s amazing! Anytime there is a fire or disaster of any kind, what is the one thing people go to grab? Pictures. When someone passes away – PICTURES. Even all throughout history….just imagine if there were not pictures to document all the important life events that have happened! Pictures tell stories that can easily be forgotten. They capture that nostalgia and flood your memories back. They are EVERYTHING, and I love my job so much! <3
